Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Great replacement for Dasani Comment: I loved Dasani since it had reverse-osmosis filtering. Did not like that I was paying premium for filtered tap water. Decided to try Pur to reduce plastic bottles and cost. I am completely happy. Pur is not as completely tasteless as Dasani but definitely more than acceptable. No smell and no particles. I love that my recycle bin is now much emptier each week. The dispenser fits nicely in my side-by-side Kenmore and takes up much less space then I thought. Absolutely no drips once the faucet is closed. It comes with one filter and the 3-pack filter is a good buy on Amazon. Customer Rating: Summary: Great water filter Comment: I bought this water filter system for my new condo. Customer Rating: Summary: Pur 2 stage Water Dispenser Comment: I used to be a die hard Brita fan but the water coming out of this filter system tastes much better. I also like the fact that it is cheaper than Brita and takes out more chemicals and bacteria than Brita. Amazon and Lowes have some of the best prices out there. I have a dispenser and a pitcher and that does well for a family of four. It takes about as much time between the Brita and Pur to filter the water but you have to follow the instructions on soaking a new filter and rinsing it out at the beginning or else it will be really slow. After a week of operations the rate of water filtration is extremely low. I have to plan on filling up the container before going to bed to have the water filtered and ready by morning.
