Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: no more fleas Comment: I have used Frontline Plus on both my dog and my cats, and it works beautifully. No fleas, even when we are in Florida!! Customer Rating: Summary: The only one that really works Comment: I have eight cats and three of them had suffered with ear mites for about three years and I had paid a lot of money to the vet for ear treatments. One treatment of Frontline Plus for fleas evidently helped get rid of all little critters because none of the cats have ear mites now and this was much less expensive than the vet bills. I'll never use anything else! Customer Rating: Summary: Horrible! Waste of Money, Does not kill fleas in larvae stage! Comment: This product is absurd. I can not believe that it is supposed to be the leading brand. I used it because it was recommended by my vet when my cats got fleas, the fleas came back after a week!! When I did some further research on the frontline site, they say that there guarantee is for after three months of use. That is how long it takes to break the flea breeding cycle. Frontline kills adult fleas and flea eggs but not fleas in the larvae stage, which is the middle stage. So any of those fleas will emerge as adults and you have the problem all over again. If you already have fleas you should definitely go with Advantage that kills the larvae and adult stage. Frontline is only good as a prevention and who wants to pay that much for only preventative purposes. I encourage you to do your own research and not waste your money on this product that is definitely lacking. The picture of the cat is different than shown online, but it seems to be the same Frontline Plus product. If I had known this was coming from out of the United States, I would have paid more and gone with another supplier.
