Comment: I used to use toothpicks after meals to dislodge food stuck between my teeth. But now this not only works for that purpose but also strengthens my gums. Now, think about trying to floss your teeth while wearing braces -- not an easy thing to do. My oral hygenist suggested that I try a Waterpik instead of trying to thread floss between my braces. She also suggested the cordless Waterpik for travel and taking to work. I bought them both at the same time, and my life is so much easier now. What a time saver this is!
