Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Poor Quality Comment: I ordered two of these as gifts and each had a single broken perch. The boxes were in excellent shape. The broken perches were in the same position in relation to the logo printed on top, which leads me to believe there is a quality issue at the manufacturer. The perches seem very flimsy anyway, even for a hummer. The rest of the assembly is OK. I'm going to return them both and find a traditional glass upright feeder locally. I bought 2, and one of them hangs crookedly and consequently can't be filled all the way up. They are easy to clean and fill with new solution plus come with a feature to deter ants. Great price, product and I would recommend it to anyone who loves hummingbirds. Customer Rating: Summary: A sanitary, safe feeder for Hummers Comment: This feeder is SO easy to keep clean! The sugar water one feeds hummers is a great medium to grow bacteria. The hummers will inoculate it with their tongue when they drink from it. So, every time I refill it,(every 3 or 4 days) I can take it apart...as easy as lifting a lid off a pot! Clean it out with vinegar, rinse it well, refill it and set it back out for my hummers. Done! The water mote to keep the ants out must work. I haven't seen an ant since I got this feeder.
