The Pattern Master is a unique, adjustable sprinkler that waters virtually any shape lawn without wasting water on fences and driveways. This innovative impulse sprinkler waters up to 5,800 square feet and features a 43-foot watering radius. An easy-to-use programming disc adjusts up or down at sixteen positions within a single rotation-cutting the spray short to avoid the flower bed; going a little longer to soak that freshly planted tree; then launching a broad sweep across the far end of the yard so there's no need to relocate the sprinkler down there later. With full rotation control, watering just about any obstacle course of a lawn is possible! Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: Perfect Comment: Love this sprinkler - the customizing possiblities are perfect for us. We started over with our backyard (tore down garage, ripped out trees, built a deck and fence). We have three pine trees in a row, so we can't plant grass underneath (needles). This left us with a "C" shaped yard that needed steady watering since we planted seed for the new yard. On top of that, our outdoor water pressure is only strong enough for one sprinkler at a time - can't use a chain of sprinklers. This is the only thing that worked. We aren't watering the deck/house/neighbor's yard anymore. I love it. It took about 30 minutes to establish the pattern and I don't move it so the timer just goes off 3/day and the yard is basically maintenance free. The new grass looks great! Directions came on the back of the box and were not very detailed, but through trial and error I learned how to set the pattern and the type of spray. My neighbor was quite impressed with the diameter capabilities of the sprinkler. While setting the sprinkler up, it was shooting water across the street and he asked if I was opening a car wash. We've gone through several different types over the years, but none worked as well and easily as this one. Worth every penny, and it wasn't even expensive! Customer Rating: Summary: Another Gilmour dud--I should have known better Comment: Somebody please kick me if I ever buy another Gilmour pulsating type sprinkler. This sprinkler is relatively easy to set up, but it does not perform well for irrigular areas, contrary to what some have said. The worst thing about it, though, is that shortly after I stopped using it it stopped turning, rendering it useless. I have previously had four Gilmour Metal Zinc Sled Base Pulsating Head Sprinklers (Model: 967ZDGF) that I bought at Lowes. They look great and work just fine for anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours, but they all eventually stopped turning. Thus they are useless except to water one spot. I have some sprinklers of other kinds that keep on turning, so it is not just something strange that I am doing. I have used sprinklers for many years, and the Gilmour brand is the only one that has failed me. More Reviews
