It swivels in a complete 360 degree circle, and it is equipped with a pneumatic gas lift, so you can raise and lower the chair with a simple pull of a lever. The back can be adjusted front-to-back for maximum comfort, and the back rest is also mounted on a pivot bar so that it conforms to your posture when you sit. The chair is mounted on a "5 star" set of rolling casters. The heavy-duty double wheels are extra sturdy, and hooded for your safety.

This chair was a good buy for the price. It's very sturdy and relatively comfortable. I spend a lot of time in it, because I work from home and have had no problems. The adjustable back is nice--once you find the position that is most comfortable, the back slants in slightly to support your back when you lean back into the chair. My only caution is that the directions to assemble the chair are not great. While there are at least 40 parts, the directions for assembly consist of 4 rather small visual diagrams, so there is some guess work involved. It's not impossible to do--just takes some thought and patience. Shipping was fast, too. I ordered on a Friday and had the chair the following Tuesday. No complaints!!
