I was very glad to get hold of this biltong in the USA but not quite satisfied with it. It's too salty (yes, biltong can be too salty!) and saturated with preservatives. The droëwors (dried sausage) from the same vendor is much better and I'll reorder that but not the biltong. Customer Rating: Summary: Yummy to the tummy! Comment: This was bought as a gift for my husband, who grew up in S.Africa. It is one of his favorite treats and it keeps him happy and quiet for hours! So, I do recommend this, even though I personally have never even tried it! That's because my husband loves it so much, he refuses to even let me taste any for fear I might love it and then eat it all myself!!! This chewy, flavorsome delght is just about as good as it gets. I would like to say the bags are too small but that would me being greedy. If you have never had biltong before, its a little different but after your third peice, you will be ordering again. Enjoy. p.s. as for the sausage, did I like? Not so much.
