Cables are thick and feel substantial, and have built in ferrite core on one end of the cable to reduce interference. We have a newer HD LCD TV and HD cable. Both the TV and cable box are connected via HDMI through our home theater receiver - sound and picture quality are excellent. I read a couple of reviews about the 6 foot version of this cable, both of which gave a poor rating. Not sure why they had such a bad experience, but I could not be happier - really a great, high quality product. More Reviews
