Spotlight customer reviews: Customer Rating: Summary: I Couldn't Be Happier Comment: I just got my 2nd one of these. The first one I got in the 'best' retail store. I later learned that retail stores sell them uncalibrated so I had to pay geek $400.00 to calibrate all the colors to be the best they can be. If you buy from a non-retail outlet, they're already calibrated. As for the glossy screen complaints, I can't complain. Any reflection produced is not something that glares at me....I sort of see through it without noticing it. I feel like I have the Cadillac of LCD TVs, so I bought a 2nd on from Amazon for another room. The colors of HD and non-HD programs are magnificent. Especially the sets of local news programs and game shows like Jeopardy that are broadcast in HD. You cannot beat the quality for this price. Customer Rating: Summary: Highly Impressive. Wow amazing this is the best HDTV out there you get 3 extra months warranty just for registering your HDTV. When you watch standard TV it still looks great. I am amazed at the picture quality. I went to sears and looked at dozens of LCD's nothing came close. Ordered through amazon and couldn't believe how fast I received it. Great service they even asked if I wanted it set up. I said no because opening is the best part about getting something new. When you watch movies OMG looks like your looking out of the window or watching live footage its so damn clear i stare at it with my mouth open. Mind you this isn't my first HDTV 1080P My last HDTV was great but this beats it by 100% Trust me don't think just get this Samsung 6 series. Comment: GENERAL: I must admit that I was a bit skeptical about ordering such a high-dollar product online; however the transaction went smooth, fast and I wouldn't hesitate doing it again, or recommending it to someone else. The TV was $600 less than I could purchase it at any local retailer; and it was well worth the five-day wait to get it at home. SHIPPING: I placed my order on a Thursday, and had my new TV the following Tuesday. I will say that it only had to ship from PA to NH; thus it wasn't too far away. I checked the status of the shipment daily, and when I saw it arrived at the local hub, I called the shipping company myself to set up the delivery. The delivery arrived within the scheduled time block, and the gentlemen who brought the TV into my house, did it with "white gloves." Customer Rating: Summary: Panasonic Plasma lot better than Samsung LCD Comment: Before I started my comments on this product, I must say that Amazon gives excellent service delivery for this product. However for this TV, I have to rate it 3 stars. I read lot of people's reviews this item and thought it's good TV until I bought it. I completely disappointed with the color setting of this LCD. The color looked too yellow and red. I could not make it any better. Compared it to my 720P Panasonic Plasma, the plasma color is beautiful out of the box. The sound is another terrible thing on this TV, with surround sound on, I cannot understand clearly because it sounded like you bring the sound recorder to theater and recorded. Overall, it looks good with PC input. However, with others, DVD and TV inputs, the color on this TV is not good. One other thing is missing is the caption will not work if you're using component video cable as the catalog stated. If you don't believe me. Buy this TV and find out. More Reviews
