She has been wanting the apple iPod 4th generation. But after looking into the differences between the two I like the generation 3. The new model has had alot of problems, and you can not control it like you can the 3rd gen. Just seems like other than the thinner design, it is more trouble. And after my daughter got hers she really didn't mind the shape, she just really love's it. So we highly recommend the Generation 3 model..
