Spotlight customer reviews:
Customer Rating: Summary: Poor quality headphones - you get what you pay forComment: Headphones started off well enough - had some trouble keeping them in my ear - the slightest tug pulled them loose. But now, after three months, they have completely broken down. The sound cuts in and out, forcing me to wiggle the connection to get sound back in the right earphone. The sound comes back on, but I have to keep my head, the wires, and the ipod perfectly still - any movement, and the right earphone cuts out again. And it's not just my ipod - the headphones have the same problem when plugged into any headphone jack.
So if you are looking for three months worth of headphones, look no further. If you want headphones that will last longer than three months, then keep looking. You will get what you pay for with these.Customer Rating: Summary: cant believe what a good dealComment: I just got the new J2s from JLAB but this is a great deal for the original jbuds. I recommend spending the extra on the new ones. They are sweeeeett!!!Customer Rating: Summary: Great until....Comment: These ear buds were pretty good. Good sound, comfortable, did a decent job at noise cancellation, up until they break down. I had two pairs that broke down on me, some kind of problem with the connection near the jack. I'm switching.Customer Rating: Summary: great while they workedComment: When I got these I was thrilled, they sounded great with none of the static from the line that other earbuds had produced. Although I read a few reviews about the connections going out, I assumed the users were excessively rough on them. Since the connections had gone out on my last pair (different brand, $20 range), I was very careful with these. I got them on 10/14/08 and I lost the right sound yesterday (11/19/08). I'm going to try and get them fixed under warranty but even cheap earbuds should last longer than a month. Hopefully the J2's will hold up better.Customer Rating: Summary: They were great for about a year...Comment: I loved these earphones and used them all the time. They have great sound reduction from outside noise and good sound quality, but I've had them now for almost a year and they broke on my yesterday. Sounds like one of the wires got torn, cause the right ear sometimes gets no sound. I need to buy a new set now... going to try something different this time.
